Jhovonne Fernandez is a last semester Master’s student and student research assistant at MSU CCED. In May, 2023 Jhovonne completed his undergrad at MSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science. During his undergraduate career, Jhovonne has also served as Social Media Coordinator for the Undergraduate International Indian Student Association at MSU and has become a certified Domicologist. This year, Jhovonne is finishing Masters degree in Media & Information working towards the completion of his project focused on community perspectives of community development and research. Since joining the Center in March of 2020, Jhovonne has had the opportunity to explore his interests in community building, resiliency planning, network management, publishing and digital design.
