Courtney Luong, was born and raised in Woodhaven, Michigan. Currently she is finishing her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University majoring in International Relations with minors in Global Health and Epidemiology and Philosophy and Law. At the Center she is serving through Campus Compact as an AmeriCorps*Volunteer in Service to America working on "Blue Zone" development in Ingham Count. Through her service she wishes to strengthen her advocacy and networking skills within the health field and provide resources to improve the health of community. The skills she gains from this will ultimately be applied internationally one day by helping those in other countries with public health initiatives. A fun fact about about Courtney is that she enjoys summer sports, such as tennis, pickleball, and running during her free time.
